Comparison

Gooya vs Kululu: a lower price and a bigger free tier, or a private album and voice in the QR.

Kululu has a larger free tier and a lower paid plan. Gooya keeps the album hidden from guests until the host sends it, takes voice notes from the same QR code and gives iPhone guests a dual camera without downloading any app. Prices checked 2026-10-23 on kululu.com/pricing and wedibox.com/compare/pricing (dollar amounts; Kululu's own page did not show them when we read it). Where Kululu wins

Price, the free tier, and a live wall.

Kululu's free tier takes 100 uploads, against Gooya's 50, and its Plus plan is $39 against The Event at $89. Pro at $99 includes a year of storage. It sells a live photo wall and slideshow (kululu.com/wedding-photo-sharing-app, checked 2026-10-23) and says it has run more than 10,000 events (kululu.com/pricing, checked 2026-10-23).

  • *Plus at $39; Pro at $99 with 1 year of storage.
  • *A free tier of 100 uploads.
  • *A live photo wall and slideshow (Gooya's live wall is on by default too).
  • *A separate plan for planners and agencies that run many events (kululu.com/pricing, checked 2026-10-23).

Where Gooya is different

Only what we verified in Gooya's own product.

By default, guests see nothing until the host sends the album. The host can also choose to open the album from the start. We did not check Kululu's guest view, so this is a statement about Gooya only.

  • *Voice notes come from the same QR code as the photos, on iPhone and Android, with no add-on.
  • *On iPhone, the Reaction camera films the moment and the guest's face at once, without downloading any app.
  • *The host downloads every original in one ZIP.

Real hosts

What hosts say after the event.

“I cried when I saw my mom's reaction to the father-daughter dance — the dual camera caught the dance and her face in the same shot. I'd never have gotten that myself.”
Monika · Wedding host
“The best part was seeing real footage from real people, not just the photographer's version of the night.”
Veronica · Event host
“It didn't dump hundreds of photos onto my phone and eat my storage — I got to pick exactly what I wanted to keep.”
Michelle · Party host
