Common questions
- How do my guests join — do they need an app?
- No app and no account. You print or display your event's QR code; each guest scans it with their phone camera and is taken straight to your event page in the browser, where they can take or upload photos and videos right away.
- Is my gallery private?
- Yes. Your gallery is private to you, the host. Guests are write-only — no guest can ever see, list, or download what another guest left. You control whether and when memories are revealed, and you can hide any item.
- How do I download or save my photos and videos?
- Sign in to your dashboard, open your event, and you can view and download your memories. Everything streams through short-lived private links generated only for you. If you need a full export, contact us and we'll help.
- How long are my memories stored?
- Free events are stored for one week. The Event ($89) keeps your memories for three months, and you can renew storage for a full year at $49.99. The Keepsake ($149) includes a full year of storage from the start.
- Can I get a refund?
- If something went wrong with your purchase, email us at info@afterthemessage.com within 14 days of buying and we'll make it right. Tell us your account email and what happened.
- I think I found a bug — what should I do?
- Use the form above and pick "Bug" as the topic. Tell us what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead (a screenshot helps). We read every report.
