Setup

Create the event before you print anything.

Make the Gooya event, copy the guest link, download the QR, and test it on an actual phone. Then place the code into signs or stationery.

  • *Scan-test the final printed code.
  • *Use a short line of instructions under the QR.
  • *Keep the code large enough for low-light reception rooms.

Wording

Tell guests what they are giving you.

The sign should not say only 'scan me.' It should say what happens after the scan: add photos and videos to the couple's private gallery.

  • *Scan to share your photos and videos.
  • *No app. No sign-up.
  • *Help us see the night from your seat.

Privacy

A private QR gallery beats a public shared album for many weddings.

With Gooya, guests contribute without browsing other uploads. That keeps the focus on the event and gives the couple control before anything is revealed or shared.

  • *Write-only guest experience.
  • *Host-controlled reveal.
  • *Download and sharing tools after the event.

Follow-through

Mention the QR more than once.

One sign is rarely enough. Use the QR at the welcome table, tables, and a DJ or emcee prompt. Guests scan more when they hear why it matters.

  • *Place codes at natural pauses.
  • *Ask the wedding party to seed the first uploads.
  • *Use the gallery count as a small live prompt if appropriate.
Questions

Answers before you make the QR.

Do guests need to download an app?

No. Gooya opens in the phone browser from one QR code. Guests can use the camera or their library without installing an app, making an account, or remembering a password.

Can guests see everyone else's uploads?

No. Gooya is write-only for guests by default. They send their own memory, see that it landed, and return to the event. The private gallery belongs to the host.

Can the host download everything?

Yes. The host can download the visible memories in one ZIP, including the original photo and video files Gooya stores for the event.

Can I text the QR link instead of printing it?

Yes. Gooya events have a QR code and a direct guest link. Print the QR for the room and text the link to people who ask later.
